+paulopanz 2,853 Posted April 14, 2009 Hi there, I'm working on a 1964 campaign with historical orders of battles. Why 1964? Because it was a transition year from old jets to new F-104G and MiG-21F. Now with outstanding Veltro's F-102A the plane list is full up! I plan to include: USAF,RAF,LUFWAFFE, FRENCH, DUTCH and DANISH air forces from the NATO side, and VVS, LSK, POLISH, CZECHOSLOVAKIAN air forces on the other side. You'll fly every squadron from every side. The work is going on well, but I lack some data, and I ask it to you all to help me. I need good, detailed orders of battle of these nations' airforces: -FRANCE -POLAND -CZECHOSLOVAKIA If you could send those data, I'll be able to finish my campaign. This skin will be good for a later campaign in the '70s. Paolo P.S. I made Reds (or Arabs or Viets) flyable in ALL stock or not campaigns on my HD. It's quite easy ..... I have Yefim Gordon's Mig-21 Bible too, and I used it for the serials of my silver skin of Mig-21F of Polish Air Force posted here at Combat.Ace. But Your translations were very usefull for me. CHIACO in your own polish forum (take a look please) has posted a 1965 OOB on which I'm working on. I think I'm near to solve the Polish boder data finding. These are now the main problems: - we lack Polish bases (We have only Babimost and Kryzwan, because the others Chojna, Kolobrzeg and Kluczewo were manned by Soviets) - the Polish Regiments were very mixed units / this is difficult to solve in game terms So I'm thinking about that: which units include, which planes pick, in which air base. When I was young all about Warsaw Pact and beyond the iron curtain was a mistery. A site like this: http://www.mil-airfields.de/index-en.htm was umbelivable. Our free talking about these things, too .... So thanks for the map (very nice!) and the Soviet units. For the bases to add I'm not able. I asked hgbn, who is a specialist. There are some Lim-6s (beta) by Gerald14 here at Combat.ace. They need upgrade with the last patches and maybe a tail addiction for the parachute housing. It'ld be great The last one Mig-17PF model, revamped by Gepard (for WoI), that I am adapting for Woe LSK etc. duty, I think is quite good. I'm thinking about it. It has a little decal problem on the top wings (the decals are reflected like a mirror on the wings' edges) but some AF (Who said Polish?) haven't decals on top wings .... I'm making the numbers, could you go for some basic skins? Sure we should need a better model ..... We'ld need a good Mig-19P/PM, too. Is it something in working in the German factories, or I'm wrong ? For later use in Woe historical campaigns we lack also a good brand new Alphajet (something on the horizon ?) and a Buc (In the german works now! I'm waiting ... ) and maybe a Magister (good for WoI, too, that has some very good free models in FS maybe to adapt, like RF-84F), a plane that I love quite like Migs and F-101/2/4/5/6s. If I may suggest, perhaps Pakos's 17PFU and MadCaddie's mods ; of which I've done a few 'upgrades' to (PF, PF SP-16 and the PFU - the first 2 with working a-a rocket pods). All available here at CA. with a little tweeking, I think the Izumrud nose could be added as a pilot seat, as opposed to the 'weapon station' (ie: 0 strength jammer) it is now. That way, it'll show up on parked aircraft and you have the advantage of using the stock 3W MiG-17 with all the proper skins, damage bmps/tgas, etc wrench kevin stein Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
