Hauksbee 103 Posted April 24, 2009 Just finished wringing out a Sopwith Pup chasing a gaggle of D.II's. Frequently, well...constantly, I had warnings on screen about exceeding design limits. But the bad news never came to pass. I've had similar with DH-2's and E.III's. I've read of many wing failures by others [i assume they're flying real missions] but I've yet to experience it. +Polovski 460 Posted April 24, 2009 QC is exactly the same as campaign from that point of view. Many wing failures? Oldham seems to be having a problem but not seen mass reports of wing failures. Try an Alb DIII early, dive to 180 pull up at 80 degrees or so. Repeat, about 3 or 4 later you should lose one.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

PS: I flew much more careful today and brought the lady home in one piece. Damn hard, to let them SPADs dive away, and not to follow!
