60's Aircraft Suggestion question

I'm still trying to mod one of the campaings in WoI. Can anyone please suggest and aircraft active from 1960-1970? I don't really mind if their textures has no IDF/AF Markings. I just want a good aircraft from those times. Thanks

F-104A's [?] are an interesting 'What If?' add-on for Jordan. According to Wikipedia, they were under U.S. control and were moved to Turkey during the Six Day War.
