JediMaster 451 Posted June 19, 2009 I DL'd it last night, just over 4GB. It says it has SP, so I'm going to see what that's like. I wished AA had coop in the past, it would be nice to have that ability.

JediMaster 451 Posted June 22, 2009 Well, I did a lot of the training this weekend, but I couldn't find an option to play coop anywhere. All I see is joining servers under MP, what am I missing?
Nesher 628 Posted June 22, 2009 try filtering the server results to only see SF Snake Plain mission in 2.8.x version that's one of two co-op mission :)
JediMaster 451 Posted June 22, 2009 Um, no, I've got AA3 installed. And you mean there's only TWO lousy coop missions? TWO?

Viper6 3 Posted June 22, 2009 you have to rank up to Ranger and SF status to get access to the good stuff
JediMaster 451 Posted June 23, 2009 Why would I want to even waste my time playing crap just to be able to play something good when I can play other games that let you do the good stuff right from the get go? What a stupid concept.
+Fates 63 Posted July 10, 2009 Why would I want to even waste my time playing crap just to be able to play something good when I can play other games that let you do the good stuff right from the get go? What a stupid concept. You mean like BF2?
Viper6 3 Posted July 10, 2009 AA3 is just like the real Army in that we don't allow just anyone the use of anything unless they qualify with it first.
+Acidrain 0 Posted July 10, 2009 I haven't attempted to download it yet, is it worth it? I take it from the comments, no!
Nesher 628 Posted July 10, 2009 to tell ya the truth... it's still need some work all the authorization stuff have major problems i hvae lags when i play but sometimes i don't know if it's network related or pc processing (the game reach 1gb of memory out of my 3.25 on Vista 32bit OS) so if you want to try it out.. go for it see how it looks and feels cause it's a totaly different game with the same concept from previous versions
JediMaster 451 Posted July 10, 2009 I skipped BF2 for that reason as well as others. However, skipping past the argument about "unlocking" weapons or equipment, the argument for unlocking the ability to play coop can't be made. I do not like playing adversarial. I quit playing that stuff 5 years ago when the online gaming community became a paradise for cheaters and teens with no life that play JUST THAT GAME for 80 hrs a week. I like coop, like L4D or Serious Sam or many others, where you work WITH other people (that you know, no public servers for me ever) against the AI. I'm not going to play hours and hours of adversarial just to be allowed to play coop. That's just stupid.

Viper6 3 Posted July 10, 2009 It also allows your past AA achievements to be brought over to AA3 I've played since the very beginning so I did not have to repeat anything or unlock anything to play co-op And since I'm in a realism unit, I play with mature men that I know and since we have our own servers I never have lag issues or any issues for that matter.
