How to Add Naval Units to a Campaign ?

Hello Everybody !!!

 

Despite no one answered the carrier problem (As i edited the frontline and idont know why)

 

I hope someone will tell me how to add naval units like destroyers and battleships to a campaign i added them in targets.ini and types.ini but they still not appear i will be thankful for him as i'm making suez campaign which i finished but only adding some naval unit at Portsaid and Port Fou'ad(I Know the map like my name as iam Egyptian) Dont be afraid i will share the campaign on the site if you help me  The Campaign is finished only with the Naval Units and some Egyptian People's Resistant which you ignored in this Forum  and i made the RAF and French Bombers to bomb civilian cities specially Portsaid like it happened in real dont tell me they where focusing on military units it happened but the most victims where civilians as the game american it tells us that the Blue units (Nato and some allies) are heroes and Red Units (Wp) are stupid rebels, Hoping someone to help me

Friend, if you get into stuff like that, you won't get much useful answers.

 

If you want to place the ships as statics, that always stay where they are, the types.ini and targets.ini placements should work. Thats how I have some of the harbours populated.

 

If you want them to sail around, which is still an underdeveloped feature in this game; Look into the *_movement.ini. You can have convoy definitions in there. All the ships will be the same and there's a limit on how many merchant ships you can define. (I could be mistaken, was it warships? )

Egtxxxx or whoever...multiple accounts are a violation of site policy. Pick one account or the other...then send a PM to an admin requesting the one you don't want to be deleted.

 

And if folks want to help you, they will, trying to badger them into doing so will only anger people...and get the attention of the moderators and admins.

Ok Fast Cargo I Admit I Have 4 Users EGT2007 EGT2008 EGT2009 EGT2010

 

I used them to break thr download limit but i dont need it now i downloaded must of the useful stuff i hope the forum will forgive me

in regards to ships etc you are going to have to start searching old threads where you will find what you need - no one is going to write up a 20 page manual for you on the subject

And folks, I'm not talking to anyone in particular, doing this kind of thing, ESPECIALLY for the purpose of getting around download limitations, is not only bad form, but can get you banned on sight.

 

If anyone has friends here who might be inclined on doing such a thing, you may want to let them know.
