navychief Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Well, if one of you folks wants to buy it, I can keep the ejection seat, On Board Oxygen Generating System, and aircond/pressurization system in working order! The F/A-18 was the last tailhook aircraft I worked on. Navy Chief Quote

Dutchy Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 I throw out all my plants and stones out of the garden to make room for the Hornet ;) Serious now, why put the Navy a Hornet on E-bay? What's next. Old nukes or other weapons? Is this not dangerous for us? Terrorists can buy also these things. Has somebody thinking about that? Maybe I make my self to worry about it. But I hope the buyer of the Hornet will not keep it for himself, just put in a museum. Salute Dutchy Quote
