Problem with Mavericks on TMF F-18a.

Recommended Posts

Of course WOE, Oct2008b update, weapons pack and loadout problem: there is only one maverick on each InnerWingStation or 0 (zero)! <- must be 3. What to do?

Well, technically, I don't think the F-18A's could carry mavericks. The C's were the first ones to get that capability. Also, the C's can only carry one per station.

But let's say you want your A to carry 3 per station anyway:

1. go into the FA-18A_data.ini file

2. make sure the allowable type on the inner wing stations includes "TLR"

3. make sure the weight limits for the station will allow 3 mavericks.

Doesn't work :dntknw: . I found docs that demonstrate capability of carry AGM-65E laser guided Mavericks by A/B models. AGM-65F imaging infrared guided is not capable for A/B.

Maybe problem is pylon or racks? Stock F-16a has something like mav_rail?

Still IIRC they only carried one per rack.

Yup one per pylon, a triple rack IRL caused too much drag for catapult launches so they stuck to the single rail system. That I'm sure along with weight was another factor.
