but thanks Guys... do you seen any MF with internal Delta-NM pod (in Right wing, like Mig-23BN) or MF used Delta-2NG pod on right fuselage pylon like ML family?

 

i now it was removed due aerodynamical reasons...

 

and early soviet ML had 2 rear fuselage pylons, removed later, know some export version with this?

It should be ok unless fired in a big salvo. But I don't thnk it is possible to fit 2xUB-32 and a centerline fuel tank at the same time. There is just not enough space.

 

I've never seen a MF with built in Delta, only BN and UBs.

Are these the same pylons as used on BN? Because the BN fuselage was additionaly strenghtened to support these. Maybe this is the reason why they were removed...

The KH-23 was not used in the east german MiG-23 fighter units. Also the MiG-23BN fighter bombers used it very seldom. It was an unreliable missile with a very poor hit rate. I remember that one pilot said, that you must train the firing of the KH-23 some 100 times before you can really hit something.

thanks... it maens no kh-23 for ddr mf also ok... i know that use kh-23 not easy thing, pilot must remember possible alt/distanse ranges & gimble limit -16/+18 deg on horizontal +6/-13 on vertical direction

AFAIK the Iraqi ML's were fitted with ASO-2V dispensers taken from their Su-22's .... and they used the French Remora ECM pod on the Floggers...

i have this pics, but have so many problems with it. maybe someone can he me.

 

1) we know, what captured MiG-23 number is 2786 (maybe it was mistake ababic '6' very simular with '1' on far distance)

 

2) a know about two MLD export versions 32-22 {MLAE-2}, 32-19 {MLAE} , never hear about 32-22B, i think it's 32-19 plane

 

3) strange CM dispensers... it's not bvp-50-60 or aso-2 or vp-23... look on bottom picture

 

4) 0390324522 so small

 

i know 0390324255, 0390324617 - DDR MLA batch, Syria got more modern planes that WP?

 

i need hi-res photo nose this plane "блоки Н003Э" can be placed here i can determinate plane type on this.

I spent quite some time checking pictures and drawings of similar installations on different aircraft.

My conclusion is:

The CM dispensers are made of several ( 4 each side, iirc) 6-tube KDS-23 dispensers mounted together.

Its a "special" Syrian modification, not seen on any other Floggers.

i read in some sources, that IAF mig-27ML used BGL-400 but not sure at 100% that's true.

 

second question is ECM, you can see, what SPS-141(142,143) is removed (2 blisters on nose)...

 

need info about new ECM and were it placed,

 

 

third question: is 'Pion'{ILS} nose 'Pion' antenna is removed, but another has been placed on tail. Whether it also has been replaced ?

India bought some BGL for the M2KH for sure.

 

 

May be the BGL have been used with other IAF plane, but it's an expensive weapon compare with Israeli or Russian bombs...

Its great that you are making MiG-27M UPG . These upgrades 27Ms have TU-XXX series serial numbers(instead of TS-XXX).

Also, have you deleted the port(left) side nose probe? I have a picture of upgraded MiG-27Ms, and both the nose probes exist in it. I will scan it for you.

I will make the serials for you. Yes, it is not there in your drawing, but trust me its there on the real a/c. I think the new antenna behind the ckpt is also absent. Also upgrade of all Indian MiG-27s are complete, I think now they are planning to carry our upgrade of Indian MiG-29s.
