I was going to join up with him but was only 17 at the time and he was 18. My ole Pappy wouldn't sign for me.. ("Father Knows Best") as he was at Ardennes and other unspeakeable places in WW2 ) and he knew may have saved my life. I wish I could have told him that. But Hapy Birthday all of you fine Men Quote
