I'm posting this now because I have to work starting 0500 tomorrow and won't be home til late, so if I don't say it now, it'll be too late. Ras 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Not a Jyrene, BH, but one of my best buddies was. He departed in June 1966 in SEA. I was going to join up with him but was only 17 at the time and he was 18. My ole Pappy wouldn't sign for me.. ("Father Knows Best") as he was at Ardennes and other unspeakeable places in WW2 ) and he knew may have saved my life. I wish I could have told him that.
