Framerate drop after latest update

The framerates have drop for me after the latest update.

I was getting 80-100 fps under all conditions prior to the patch.

Post update I'm getting 40-60.

I have not changed any game settings at all.

 

Just wondering if others are experiencing any differences?

 

system:

Quad 6600

Win7

8800GT

Graphics Settings: high; no mirrors; shadows low

mine picked up slightly, i think. I'll compare between versions tonight. my system is "stressed" but on low settings runs pretty well.

 

cockpit high, mirrors on, all other graphics settings low or off.

Generally, the new patch has improved framerates for me.

IMHO 40-60 FPS is excellent. Mine is around 30-60 FPS and its real smooth. Graphic settings are max out except for horizon set on normal

I'll continue to tweak my settings.

I'd had not ever experienced a perfromance decrease after an upgrade.

It was actually running at 56-59fps, consistently in a couple of missions.

I thought maybe I had turned on v-sync, but when I checked it was not on.

I set "effects" to High, now I'm back at 80-100+ fps...

Think I'll leave things alone.
