Regarding the WeaponData in WEAPON Folder. after adding any NEW Weapons, next SAVE it. Next, use the WeaponEditors.exe in same WEAPON Folder------>> CLICK it, then scroll RIGHT the bar until u find Sub-Folder WeaponData.----->> Click Edit New Weapon ---->> Click OPEN, ----->> next, just click SAVE! Finally, hit CLOSE. There, u will have your weapons of choice. Welcome aboard. Been here since September last year, and enjoyed very much this international community. Bet u will not regret being here. Me no wanna go anywhere else.
+FastCargo Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Hold on. First, which sim are you trying to do this for....that will determine which weapon pack to download. Second, my recollection is that at least the F-15C can already carry the AIM-9X in the sim as long as you have the most recent version of the F-15C and weapons pack...no editing needed. FC
+Fubar512 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 It would also help if you fly during your mission during the time that said weapon became available....you're not (for example) going to see any 9Xs in 1989.

FC I have WOE w/ the Oct 2008 patch, Nato Fighters I, II, II and IV from Column 5; the MISP F-15C/D from USAFMTL, and the F-16C Blk 50/52 from USAFMTL. I also have the Weapons Pack 2.52 by the WO*/SFP1 Community installed. The Aim-9X is in this weapon pack, but does not show up on the F-15C or the F-16C because the dates in the single mission mode only go up to 1997 for these two aircraft.

Then, that's why they do not show up. You must expand the date limits in the options.ini file, and make sure that both aircraft have service dates extending beyond the AIM-9X's introduction date. All of this is spelled out in the Knowledge base, BTW
charlielima Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I have a similar problem. I added GP to the weopons pylons of the P2V-7. It will take any gunpod but the SUU-11 unless i change the aircraft nation to USAF. Here is the weopndata: TypeName=SUU11B FullName=SUU-11B/A Gun Pod ModelName=suu11 Mass=170.000000 Diameter=0.300000 Length=2.150000 SubsonicDragCoeff=0.200000 SupersonicDragCoeff=0.770000 AttachmentType=NATO,USAF SpecificStationCode= NationName=USAF StartYear=1963 EndYear=1975 Availability=2 BaseQuantity=24 Exported=FALSE ExportStartYear=0 ExportEndYear=0 ExportAvailability=0 WeaponDataType=3 GunTypeName=7.62MM_M134 MaxRounds=1500 MuzzlePosition=0.000000,1.000000,0.000000 LightPosition=0.000000,1.150000,0.000000 AimDirection=0.000000,1.000000,0.000000 EjectShells=1 EjectPosition=0.000000,-0.550000,-0.100000 EjectVelocity=0.000000,0.000000,-2.000000 I changed the nation,attachement and exportability but still no joy. Would attaching it as an internal gun on the 2 inboard pylons do it? Thanks group. CL
+Wrench Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 (edited) CL: it has nothing to do with the aircraft's NationName=, but the NationName= in the weapons station. I'll bet if you add USAF to the selected hardpoints, the 11s will show up for work (as long as the 11 is set to exporte=TRUE, with the USAF and USN boxes checked) so, the weapons data should look like this: SpecificStationCode= NationName=USAF, USN StartYear=1963 EndYear=1975 Availability=2 BaseQuantity=24 Exported=TRUE ExportStartYear=1963 ExportEndYear=1975 don't forget to add GP to AllowedWeaponsClass= and USAF to the selected hardpoint, ala: [Pilon03] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=4 StationGroupID=4 StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-8.151,1.135,0.51 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=1000 AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB,GP FuelTankName= AttachmentType=USN,USAF ModelNodeName=Pilon03 PylonMass=42.62 PylonDragArea=0.04 MinExtentPosition=-8.201,1.635,0.516 MaxExtentPosition=-8.101,0.635,0.842 wrench kevin stein Edited January 10, 2010 by Wrench
