Olham 164 Posted March 13, 2010 Didn't know, that the Entente had allowed fighters with so much decoration. Not really "loud" colours, but very nice designs!
Guest British_eh Posted March 15, 2010 OK, I'm the new guy on the block, and just not very good at skinning, and look .............we have the COUNT, and SANDBAGGER, two excellent blokes who I see haven't yet been up to the CHALLENGE, to skin a TRIPE! What! Colors, vivid, design, ..............so who will be the absolute gem of a guy, to do a Tripe? Fuselage in Grey, Wings in Green, Engine shroud in Red, along with the Rudder, + a nice Red Dragon, ( like from the Welsh Flag) on the sides? RNAS 1 is the Squadron, March 1917. I can/can't wait ..................................... Looking for your reply, LOL Cheers, British_eh
catch 81 Posted March 15, 2010 (edited) Oh, I like the last pic, the SPAD XIII - who is the ace that's been flying it? Just a guess Olham but I reckon it's Fernand Henti Chavannes Edited March 15, 2010 by catch
catch 81 Posted March 15, 2010 Actually... Shred is being nice about it... we have 'others' watching us... and copying us... so we now speak cryptic and offer little information other than speculation, spin and rhetoric. You're spookin' me out Otto.... WAAAAA JESUS ! What was that ?
Olham 164 Posted March 15, 2010 "Others"? Don't they live in parallel worlds? But we can't see them? Nor can they see us? In that case, they don't matter. Mmuahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!
sandbagger 1 Posted March 18, 2010 OK - A Tripe - but no promises on delivery
OvS 8 Posted March 18, 2010 Didn't know, that the Entente had allowed fighters with so much decoration. Not really "loud" colours, but very nice designs! Yes, they were, right about the time Billy Bishop, McCudden, and the lot (like the RFC 56's planes) were getting all personal, the upper echelon of Britsh brass pulled the plug. They claimed all the 'silly' looking planes were unlike a Britsh Officer in uniform, or something like that. I guess it really dates back to times before WWI that saw a more militant British mentality, whereas the Germans simply let things be. Whatever kept their pilots happy, and scoring kills... OvS You're spookin' me out Otto.... WAAAAA JESUS ! What was that ? Well... I think you can pretty much guess at who the 'others' are... but they definately ain't ghosts... MikeDixonUK 5 Posted March 18, 2010 I guess I'd better enjoy my black and white checkered Tripe before General Melchett yells at me again.
