RF-101A & C Voodoo silver skins

I started sometimes ago with some USAFE Voodoos, editing Enrico's stock skin (see this forum).

 

Then I found the serials and made them all (for the RF-101A, too).

 

Now I'm looking for some pics to use for skinning .... please PM to me.

That's not silver.

 

This is silver....

 

Specular=1

Glossiness=0.1

Reflection=1

 

0.2 Gloss works okay also. Experiment to Taste. Assuming SF2 works the same here as SF1. I'm still back at SF 2006. I also tweak the Enviro light levels down some so there is sufficient difference between the brilliant silver surfaces that directly reflect sun/moon light to the viewer and the much darker silver surfaces that do not, depending on view and sun/moon angle.

 

 

 

DON'T set any of those 3 variables to 0.0. That can cause a game dump on some models at certain angles between the model and the sun/moon when the later are in view. Reflection=0.0 is the one I'm thinking of, I think.

Lexx is right. This is not a silver shiny one. It's light grey.

 

I'ld like to make some (maybe a lot) early (not camo) RF-101A/C skin from USAFE (i.e. USAF Europe, rscsjsuuso5) or not.

 

So if You have some pictures please send to me and I'll try to skin them.

 

About F-101A/C I don't know ... but the only F-101C I ever seen from 81st TFW are already done. BTW maybe if You, dear uncle 'X', have something new.

Looks good. i know this may be strange, but have you considered putting this for Indian air force. I loved the Mirage 2000d skins so much for sf2 that i madea separate install for that. I would think fictional skins for this would be good.

I like 'real' IAF planes (the Capun's SF-2 upgraded Marut is incoming), not much fictional ones (like Carlo ) ...

 

.... and I havn't the skill to invent them, too.

paulo, grey paint -- even so, ramp up the Texture set shines/reflection a bit. When they polished these things, the grey was like a mirror. If I recall, I've seen F-106 shots with wings mirroring the fuselage USAF markings, although this was at a low angle. Most likely most planes were somewhat dirty though. Not sure. It might be something you want.
