However i'm trying to add a carrier based tomcat squadron to the sea area of the Germany map to use in Red Storm in NF4. No matter what i've tried when I go into campaign the unit appears on the map where it should but i'm based at Spangdahlem Airbase. I have tried it with the carriers set to medium, i'll try them on small. I have read through the knowledge base several times now double checking it its like SPF2E just wont use carriers. ezlead Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 Do you have a CVN68 in groundobject folder? If you do: make sure that Folder and .ini file say the same thing. (eg. CVN68 folder and CVN68.ini) I sometimes have to swap AirUnits. Sometimes, the game engine seems to find the flyable AirUnits better if they are in the first 30 units. If you have several Air Force AirUnits that fly the same aircraft in the first 30 or so,I swap(cut and paste)one of them with the AirUnit that I want. Try changing NumSquadron=10 to NumSquadron=5 on CarrierUnit001 These are some things that I have had to do. Quote
