Who needs CGI ...just build an Ammo Dump & blow it up!

The romance scenes were enough to make one gag though, very very campy

If you're looking for an old WWI classic, I recoommend Dawn Patrol w/ Errol Flynn

Agreed Duce, one of my favs to. But that scene from Hell's Angels is still a corker, even though they crashed a lot of great old planes making the film. I just want one of them...just one.

My god, Barkhorn - I have "Wings of Glory" and used to fly it back in the days when it was the latest sim!

I would have thought, that it had looked much greater - I remembered it more detailed; which shows,

that we fill up the gaps between the pixels with our imagination.

That old cheap, but effective synthetic music also brought thememory, the feelings back - it was FUN!

I loved Wings of glory. However I thought the graphics looked better.

Wings of Glory. A game I finished. Going after the Zeps was lots of fun and the Kraut planes sure were colorful.

 

I for one am glad that both the silent film WINGS and HELL'S ANGELS were made. They have their problems but they both show some of the real planes in action.
