Slartibartfast 153 Posted August 23, 2010 I see your art of the subtle is getting to brick through plate glass window level on getting a Snipe in to OFF... It should be in just because of your persistence you are planning on wearing them down...
Dej 17 Posted August 23, 2010 I thought WM was being subtle and was referring to the girl! The plane is a Camel... isn't it?

Hellshade 110 Posted August 23, 2010 And that's my Helmet! WOOF WOOF! And that's about as close as your going to get to the girl too. But now I understand how Sopwith was able to sell so many Camels to the military despite it's awful (read: Fatal) flight characteristics. Hellshade

RAF_Louvert 101 Posted September 7, 2010 . Widowmaker, I was in the local the other day and who should walk in but the lovely Miss Elke Jeisen. I recognized her immediately from the photo you posted, and being ever-quick to take advantage of such situations when they arise I asked if she might be up for a reshoot in front of a Sopwith Snipe. After a couple of pints of OSH she sweetly agreed. So, I flew the plane in, landed it in front of the pub, and... Died and gone to heaven indeed. .
Olham 164 Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) And Miss Jensen would say to Widowmaker: "Oh, Simon - is that a revolver in your pocket, or are you just so thrilled to see me?" PS: Lou, take care - don't give them a chance to nag about you wasting too much time on the OFF forum. I mean - seeing your "Paradise" photoshop work, one might think so. And considering the areas you would have had to zoom into to trace the lovely lassie's outline I daresay you needed it!

von Baur 54 Posted September 12, 2010 Excellent examples of the best of their calss. Sleek lines, things of absolute beauty. Dangerous, even deadly, to those who don't know how to properly handle them. But for those who've developed the finesse required to get the most out of them able to deliver a ride unequalled and make you the envy of everyone else in the ready room. And the Camels are nice, too. To quote Squdron Leader Lord Flasheart, "Treat your kite like your woman. Get in her at least five times a day and take her to heaven and back!"
