Hasse Wind 46 Posted September 13, 2010 Looks very nice, Widowmaker. Anybody know if the French ever tried the Tripe? Not in combat, of that I'm sure, but maybe in some training facility? Or did all the Tripes (there weren't that many in the first place) go to the British? At least some Sopwith planes saw good service with the French, ie. the Strutters. UK_Widowmaker 571 Posted September 13, 2010 The French Navy had 17 operational aircraft (wikipedia) based at Dunkirk. The Russian's had one.
RAF_Louvert 101 Posted September 13, 2010 . That's a beauty Widowmaker, well done Sir. Hasse Wind, the French Navy operated 17 Tripes during WWI, and WM's skin looks to be representative of one of those. Cheers! Lou .
