+Hasse Wind Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Looks very nice, Widowmaker. Anybody know if the French ever tried the Tripe? Not in combat, of that I'm sure, but maybe in some training facility? Or did all the Tripes (there weren't that many in the first place) go to the British? At least some Sopwith planes saw good service with the French, ie. the Strutters. Quote
UK_Widowmaker Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 The French Navy had 17 operational aircraft (wikipedia) based at Dunkirk. The Russian's had one. Quote
+RAF_Louvert Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 . That's a beauty Widowmaker, well done Sir. Hasse Wind, the French Navy operated 17 Tripes during WWI, and WM's skin looks to be representative of one of those. Cheers! Lou . Quote
+RAF_Louvert Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 . Ooops. WM beat me to the answer, but just barely. . Quote
+Olham Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Good job, Widowmaker! I didn't know that the French also had some Tripes. Quote
+Hasse Wind Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Neither did I. But now I do, thanks to this forum. Learning new stuff about WW1 is an every day occurrence here. Quote
Guest British_eh Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Er UK W, Nice skin, yes, she must be English not French. Is she your Wingman, or uh, not sure, and is the uniform a special issue? Cheers, British_eh Quote
