GunnySonics Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I thought someone on this site might enjoy this from Youtube:- Its a series where the BBC filmed onboard HMS Ark Royal in 1976, this particular snippet shows a Bucanneer Pilot that is having difficulty in landing on his Carrier and keeps overshooting, much to the frustration of the Ships Captain. I found it quite amusing to watch, but then I am a submariner in the Royal Navy so anything that involves struggling "Skimmers & Fish Heads" amuses me!!! Treat Yourselves:- There are quite a few of these episodes on youtube which includes footage of Bucanneers & Phantoms which I happen to think were the most amazing looking jets in the history of aviation.
