draken Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Nesher hello my friend, tell me what ever happen to the lavi aircraft? That aircraft showed alot of promise in the ground attack role. Quote
Nesher Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IAI_Lavi as I remembered, high costs of the project and american pressure Quote
draken Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Nesher you right about the American pressure, they argued that the lavi's power plant was an American made engine so it ended there. But whats more puzzling why they accused Israel of selling the plans to mainland china and the development and production of their indigenous aircraft the J-10. They argued the aircraft was way to similar to the now debunked Lavi. Quote
