arthur666 Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Just made a Desert 1981 campaign with the Kitty Hawk off shore. Will the Paran airforce ever attack it? Quote
+Stary Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I think no they won't. Carriers in current state are indestructable and not targetable IIRC. Rumor has it Tomcat sim will have sinkable carriers Quote
Wodin Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 I wonder how the Rising Sun mod will recreate the sea battles then.... Quote
+Wrench Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 'prolly the same way I did for my WW2 mods, a coupla years ago. create a "new" ship item from the CV, withOUT the ability to launch/recover aircraft (its a simple data ini edit). It's just treated like any other warship. Add to _types ini, place via _targes ini and you have carriers you can attack and sink (btw, they DO shoot back) wrench kevin stein Quote
arthur666 Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 ...Rumor has it Tomcat sim will have sinkable carriers I like that rumor. I read Red Storm Rising when I was a kid, and I missed out on Fleet Defender. Maybe I'll get a second chance. :) Quote
+Stary Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I wonder how the Rising Sun mod will recreate the sea battles then.... As Wrench above wrote. These will be treated as every other ground/sea object. Check the ships in faboulous Falklands mod Quote
