CWMV Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 So ive read throught the knowledge base topics and this forum looking for a way to make the stock AC flyable. For now I just have SF2, with the rest to follow in short order. I'm brand new to the sim and figured before I start adding planes I should make the stockers flyable. If theres a write up for it Id appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction Thanks!

Be advised, however, that when you add the others in the series (SF2V/E/I/Exp1/Exp2), it'll automatacilly merge with SF2, and will erase/rewrite the pre-existing main ini for ALL aircaft -expecially the (normally) AI controled Red Air. So, once you've made the ini edits to make them flyable, you'll really want to have a "copy of ***.ini" in EACH of their folders Example: /Aircraft/MiG-17F/Mig-17F.ini (standard) and as a backup /MiG-17F/Copy of MiG-17F.ini (this one with all the necessary lines added to make it flyable, then it's just a simple 'save as....MiG-17F.ini', or copy/paste the needed lines INTO the newly (re)created main ini.) CWMV Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011 Im having an issue with the extractor. DL's fine, but gets stuck on stupid when its "registering fonts". It just locks up, no progress on the loading bar. There is still a program file in the correct location, but it cant open the CAT files, error says ERROR: Accessing external object property filename. Running windows 7 if that matters.
