Salute

I'm going out on a limb here...I want to fly a career as a Froggy Pilot.

What I am looking for are foto's of French Logbooks, AAR'S, combat reports etc..

I got all I need for Bosch and Bacon eaters but not French ones....

danke

Led, I've not found much in the way of good images of French items apart from the pilot ID certificates. The logbooks and AAR's that I have seen though are more or less just like those of the other flying services, except they're in French.

lederhosen, you could search through this French website. It contains lots of

interesting stuff, but I haven't seen it all through - so I don't know if you'd find it here.

Here is a French pilot certificate from that page:

Yes, you need some clicking and digging, but it's worth it. Here is another site,

which seems like it was made rather for personal use - there are great pictures

of the Fokker Aircraft Plant, the production and parts and tests and and and...

Click on "pics" here:

Indeed HW, I wish my French was better as well. 'Les Escadrilles Francaise de la Guerre 1914-1918' has been one of my go-to sources for the French side of the conflict for a long time now, and it is one of the best. Nice find too Olham on that DVII site, well done.

Well, thanks, but the honour belongs to our OvS (whish he would sometimes creep out from under his oldtimer

and show that he is still alive and hopefully well) - he found that some time ago.

It contains incredible professionally made old photographs from the whole Fokker production. A must-see.
