I looked around the KB and the site in general about the possibility of running SF on a Mac/Windows machine. I'm sure it's been discussed before, just can't remember where.

I looked around the KB and the site in general about the possibility of running SF on a Mac/Windows machine. I'm sure it's been discussed before, just can't remember where.

 

I run SF2 on an iMac no problem.

Depending on what version of OSX you are running (at least 10.5 I think), you should have a utility called Bootcamp in your utilities folder.

Use this to create a Windows partition on your HD, insert your Windows XP/Vista/7 installer disk and follow the instructions.

EDIT: Just remembered, this will only work with a Mac that has an Intel processor.

You have to have an Intel machine and Bootcamp. Bootcamp comes as part of 10.5+, but there is a version for 10.4 out there (and unsupported).

 

I'm running XP on my Mac Pro for gaming purposes; I'll be upgrading to Win 7 as soon as I can find some stray cash.
