UK_Widowmaker Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Very good animation, with some trully inspiring moments! I remember seeing the trailer, the finished product is better than expected, though. I think the creators were Polish actually... Ah, thanks Elephant...yes, Polish indeed Quote
+Olham Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Very well made, definitely. But I was always asthonished about meetings of German and English veteran pilots - they did not hate each other, but met each other with true respect. This film looks more like two rivaling motorbike rockers. The intro is a marvellous idea, with the plane trails as graphic elements. Quote
UK_Widowmaker Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 I had exactly the same thought Olham...but I think we are supposed to not view it in a literal Sense...and if Elephant is indeed correct, and it's a Polish Production...wel...there isn't a lot of love lost there is there? (I've seen the Polish V German Ice Hockey games....and they ain't pretty!) Quote
+Olham Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 (edited) Yeah, it's a sad fact, that there is still a lot of bad sentiments between some Polish and some German people. I was actually very glad, when I saw that Kaczynski did not win the election. For the first time, the Poles have elected the same president for a second time - and I guess a major reason was, because he and our chancelor Merkel as well as our Bundespräesident get on quite well together. One day the expatriated Germans will be gone, and the young do already see each other with different eyes. My personal opinion is, that Germans can learn a lot about taking life and everything a bit more easy, form their neighbours Poland, Czechia, Holland and Denmark. The Polish are warm-hearted, well socialising people - I met some of them. Edited October 16, 2011 by Olham Quote
Shiloh Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 (edited) Some amazingly talented people. I like to think of myself as creative to a certain extent but these individuals take it to a whole new level of amazing. Thanks for posting Widow. Edited October 16, 2011 by Shiloh Quote
