For those who are interested, TCM (Turner Classic Movies) is airing "Towards the Unknown" tomorrow (November 12th) at 10:30 pacific time. Great movie with Willaim Holden along with aircraft you just can see anywhere else like the XB-61 and F-94C Starfire. Great movie if you haven't seen it...

been about 15 years since it was aired. One of my favs!

 

actually, the Gilbert XF-120 was the XB-51; historically, it was to replace the Martin-built Canberras

 

don't forget the quickie view of the XF-92 at the opening where Lloyd Nolan crashes in front of Holden's car
