+Olham Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Just took a long stroll through the FLICKR photos of WW1 aircraft. It is unbelieveable, how much you can see there! http://www.flickr.com/groups/wwiaircraft/pool/
UK_Widowmaker Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Lovely Find m8..and look at that Snipe...luvly!

Wayfarer Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 A great link Olham, and one of the photos labelled 'BE2-1' looks remarkably like the machine in caught up in a tree shown in your recent post.
+elephant Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Also found there, a very good one of the Albatros D.V prototype, still with Johannisthal style rudder and with experimental lozenge camo painted on. The wings were also covered in lozenge fabric with reinforcement ribbons of the same material! (quite uncommon for Albatros Werke Johannisthal)...
+Olham Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Great find, elephant! I still haven't seen them all.
Britisheh Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Hi there Olham, Great find as usual! Cheers, Britisheh
UK_Widowmaker Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Is it me?...Or are the prop blades on the Albatros really quite short?
+Olham Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 I guess the angle lets them appear shorter?
