corey Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I am really disappointed in the new terrain its worse then the old one, and I would like to make a whole new high detailed one, does anyone no the process? I have 3ds max. Quote
Wrench Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 just use baltika's Full Scale ver2.0 save yourself the time and effort Quote
corey Posted March 16, 2012 Author Posted March 16, 2012 Yeah maybe I spent 10mins and redid the ground textures didn't take much. Sucks because you cant have a different normal for the snow or rocks and if its to strong it over powers the diffuse texture, so its better to have almost no normal map. +Stary Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 a whole new high detailed one I thought the NA one is detailed (mesh wise) Quote
Kodiak Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Are there any trees on the NA Iceland map? I haven't seen any. I don't have SF2NA yet but on the screenshots I saw, no trees to be seen. My best regards, Kodiak. Quote

+Stary Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 I'm in the other home, but back in the first place I'll concentrate on cracking the terrain format... that after this weekend I guess Quote
Wrench Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 trees are in 'clumps' now AND are destroyable!! Since they're LOD based now. They don't have a destroyed model, but show up as little areas burning. Quote
