Wrench Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) sf/woe/woi/ (and all SF2): tower1 (red & white checked) tower2 ( wooden one) wov/sf2v: vtower1 (square concrete base, metal supports) Edited March 20, 2012 by Wrench
russouk2004 Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Cheers guys ...sorted thnx also Im assuming that the view from tower is what I need to look at to edit camera view for tower,in the viewlist.ini ,there isnt a seperate ini that I can see.? ahh I can see that if I add a new tower I can set it as default over the stock one.and change the one game looks for in towerview F11 Edited March 20, 2012 by russouk2004
Wrench Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 i forgot the mention, the stock SFP objects image shows the 'footprint' in meters. IIRC, Polack generated that image. I, unfortunatley, can't remember who did the WoV one (and it dosen't have all the VNSEA newer objects, just the more important ones)
russouk2004 Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) cheers kev...a Q for stary or someone who knows....where do I set co-ords for default tower camera view as I dont see any position entries,in the viewlist.ini ? Edited March 21, 2012 by russouk2004
Soulfreak Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Russ check out Wrench´s topic here "@ Soulfreak" I had the similar question a few days ago! BTW, couldn´t we put some Buildings etc. together, for more differences in Terrain population? The airfield development kit is nice, but only Hangars and those Stuff...
Wrench Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 it all depends on how much time one wishes to spend on building/adding stuff. You should see the dispersal area I built for Bandar Abbas Int'l ..... that was eye crosser!!
russouk2004 Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 I think ive sorted it,the offset values for the camera in tower is the co-ord from the objscts centre at gound level it seems. So ive found the camera view point in 3ds max and applied to the tower viewlist entry and it works, you now look from the new tower in F11 mode, now to set the camera to have yaw and pitch as per cockpit views etc etc.
russouk2004 Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) Hmmmm this is driving me nuys now its viewpoint is from inside the tower just above ground level. hers the viwlist entries if some expert at views wants to see where I went wrong.
