B52STRATO 215 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) 39 years ago the Tupolev Tu-144S reg. CCCP-77102 crashed at Goussainville near Paris, during an airshow flight from Le Bourget. So I wish to share with you these pictures taken by my father at the time. They were taken with an old negative camera, so the quality is... digestible. Tu-144S Last turn... Concorde before his rival demonstration The Dassault Mirage G8, a beautiful aircraft who was sacrificed for the benefit of the future 2000. The USAF sent five "Phantom II" to the airshow, still wearing their S.E.A theme. The Red Arrows Folland Gnat, perfect as usual.
