+sinbad Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Another slow go - but I fell in love with the excellent DH-4 Liberty that Stephen1918 gave us. With time out for Tropical Storm Debbie, I've been working since I got back from Italy. The lower fuselage and other lower surfaces are light gray, but some monitors (including one of mine) render the color as light blue. Light gray really is correct, despite some sources suggesting light cream or yellow. Don't ask how long it will take to "complete" . . . BTW I did get some OK photos at the WWI hangar at the Italian Air Force Museum. I'll post a few soon. Quote
33LIMA Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Watch out, R*** of F*****! A certain other WW1 sim, ahead in other departments, is catching up on your aircraft visuals :) Great work there - love it! Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 thats an amazing skin for an amazing aircraft. I am looking forward to this one. Quote
Hansa Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 What happened with this skin? I've been waiting for it since july 2012 - almost a year!!!!!!! Quote
+quack74 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yeah Sinbad! Where've you been. Hope all is ok! Quote
+Stephen1918 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Sinbad, welcome back! This is a great skin, I love what you've done to the cockpit! Quote
VFC_Baxter Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Great work, really looking forward to flying this one Quote
+sinbad Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Well it's about time you got these guns delivered! Getting this airplane ready for combat will take at lot more effort than I've seen so far! The United States declared war in April 1917. At this rate it will be over a year before the Liberty planes see real action! The Marlin is an excellent weapon. It fires faster with much less mechanical trouble than anything at the front, but it usn't at the front yet! If it wasn't for Stephen1918 this plane would never be ready at all! 2 Quote
33LIMA Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Two Marlins AND two Lewis guns??? I'm glad my German careers are generally 1916-17 :) And I'm tempted to squeeze in a 1918 campaign now, BEFORE this arrives! PS if General Pershing is a new ground object and we bomb him, do the Yanks Go Home? :) Edited April 15, 2013 by 33LIMA Quote
