Hi All

 

I am playing around with the C-130H templates trying to make a JASDF version, what do you think? Has anyone ot any decals for JASDF Hercs?

nobody's ever done any that I've ever seen.

 

might have to scour Joe Baugher's site, by produciton year to find the serials for the 16 or 18 they got

Thanks for the replies, those light blue C-130s are interesting, would like to know when that scheme came in.

 

After looking through a lot of pics on Airlines.net and if wiki is right on there only being 15 delivered.

I think you should rework the camo a bit.

The borders on the darker green look not right. And maybe painting the insignias on the texture, not as decal..

But so far a nice paint!

don't forget, when painting on national insignia, it 'grays out' the displayed nation name in the loadout screen (not a real issue for a transport), unless the 'level1 decal cheat' is used.

Can I ask what the advantage is, of having the insignias on the texture?

 

Still trying to get rid of the borders on the green, but also have been trying to re-create the blue. Not sure if its correct.

Still working on the camo, looking at pics on the internet can't decide if wing colour or fuselage colour green is more realistic. Haven't tried painting insignia on skin yet.

My latest attempt, not sure if painting the insignia is going to happen as I can't get the scale and position right. So what do you think?
