SEA Camo Skin for TW F-8 Crusader

As my phantasies keep telling me, I'm probably delusional, but I could swear I had a SEA Camo skin for one of the TW F-8 Crusaders.

 

(Yeah, I know the US Navy didn't paint their Crusaders in the SEA camo pattern in Vietnam, hence this post in the What-if forum.)

 

I suspect, if I did have one, I lost it in one of my numerous computer/hard drive crashes over the years.

 

I also suspect it's possible if I had one, it wasn't for this flight sim, or I saw one somewhere, or I dreamed it, confused it with some other skin, etc,...

 

Anyway, if anyone knows of one for the TW F8s, could you please point me in its direction?

I've also thought that a USAF F-8 in SEA Camo would look cool and did put out a request for templates for the TW model a few months ago.

 

Before I discovered WoV I never really liked the F-8 but I'm now a fan and consider it to be an outstanding design. How could it have so much internal fuel, be equipped for carrier operations, carry a pretty respectable radar and yet totally outfly the contemporary F-100 whilst using the same J57 engine?

Like you, I didn't think much of the F-8 at first, too odd looking. But after flying it in WoV, I've a new respect and liking for it. Would like to have the SEA Camo for it for the USAF. Would look nice escorting USAF SEA Camo painted A-7s. :sohappy:

 

Templates for the TW model would be greatly appreciated. Hope some turn up soon.

Trust me, were there a Crusader template you'd seen some of those from me already, and more (NZ, GER, ARG)...

It's not a Crusader, and it's not the USAF SEA pattern, but it touches on the IDF/AF that inspired this topic.
