Emp_Palpatine Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 One of my favorites but need perhaps to be actualized with newer FM (for the Sabres), naval campaigns and so on. :)
+JonathanRL Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 The original Campaign is already fully naval compatible with multiple surface groups that provide arty support for troops on shore, hunt for each other and provide escort for Carriers while their planes are fully able to scout and engage ships.
Slant6 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 How does the blue side win this campaign? Even with liberal use of nukes by the blue side the Reds always overrun Taiwan.
+JonathanRL Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 If you nuke, you also destroy your own forces and assets. The entire campaign is fought on friendly turf. That may be one reason. The Blues will win when Marine Reinforcements Arrive. They are far too tough for the Chinese Battlegroups to handle. The key is trying to prevent the Chinese to gain a foothold on Formosa in the first place. Destroying the ship that keeps firing rockets upon your ground forces is a good place to start.
Emp_Palpatine Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 The FM are old sadly. It's my main reason not to fly that otherwise favorite of mine. The F-86 is sluggish as hell and can't compete with the MiG-15 at all. Especially compared to Korea. Also, some navy plane have a strange behaviour. And some misses sounds.
+JonathanRL Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Sadly I have no time to update any of it. What little time I have left for modding has to be put on TSF.

Emp_Palpatine Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 It... might be... :feeling suddenly stupid:
+Wrench Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 don't sweat it ... it's actually very easy to do
