Hello CA. I like to add my own pictures to the hangar screens, I saw that SFP1 uses .BMP files to load the pictures in the game.

I tried to make some for myself but I encountered a problem, I downloaded a .JPG image and I converted it to .BMP using GIMP, and when I play the hangar screen is totally black.

Would you please help me?

I am using WOV updated to the latest patch.

Did you define each image in each aircraft's base ini file, and where did you drop the bmps?

Mee, I only have one hanger screen in the Menu folder, just didn't want hundreds of bmps. My game has hundreds of aircraft lol.

Size is inportent 1024x768 works and I'm running the game at 1152x864 4/3, If the bmp size is off by 1 pixel it will do weird things. Other sizes may work, but I haven't tested them. Just checked your jpg and it's 1024x787 ,(Just crashed my game at the hangar)

try an other paint program. I use Paint Shop Pro and i have no problems.

The size of the bmp file in 1024x768 pixel resolution must be 2.305 KB. If not, something is wrong.

You're a wizard Gepard!

This is what I did with Gepard's help using GIMP:

Step 1

Step 2
