Ha, didn't realize that, as there are lots of expressions that exist in both languages. "Monnikkenwerk" as we call it means a LOT of very precise and very time consuming work, for which in former ages only monks had the time and the persevearance to finish it at all within a lifetime !!!! One finds a lot of examples for instance in churches and monasteries..... Quote
