Tragic, thoughts and prayers. Had 3 friends hurt in the Station Nightclub fire in RI.

Why are these places prone to having these types of incidents? Is it the allowing people drinking heavily to smoke in a dark room where they can drop their smokes and not see them? Is it the questionable decor is overly flammable?

Early reports are the foam insulation was set on fire by pyrotechnics.

So sad, it remembers a terrible fire in a nightclub years ago too (in Philippines ?). On our island most of these fires start in the closets, alcohol mixed with cigarettes and lighters.

Yes it turns out it was the sound insulation on the ceiling that caught fire when a flare was lit on stage.

Very similar to the Station Nightclub fire in Rhode Island
