heres a mock back story whit some info on the two aircrafts

in the late in 1970´s the Royal airforce started studis to replace the aging Fleet of Phantoms in 1977 the HS-1202-9 proposal was declared winner

1980 frist operational Squadron was in service and UK under the name Storm F.mk1

at the same time in 1978 a Harrier replacemant was call upon againg Hawker siddeley later BAE won got the prize whit its bold design HS-1208-2 under the name Scorpion its was operational in 1982 to late for the Falklands war but served remarkable in desert storm

this story his part bull part real dates and projects are up to a point

Hs-1202-9 was realy under developement in 1977

and the Harrier replacament by RAF was made in 1978 and Hawker Siddeley did offer the HS-1208-2
