Fubar512 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Oh Monty. You do realize that you are now potentially responsible for scores of domestic squabbles, right? I can just see it now "But I want to watch the Rastafarian Pastry chef, and I can't, because you're playing your silly game on the TV!" 2 Quote
+Monty CZ Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 I dont want to be responsible for that :-) Guys dont do that!!!! anyway using the HDMI is not the best thing because there is small delay betwen PC screen and TV is not possible to play FPS on it, but flying in MS Flight sim is ok Monty CZ Quote
GodsLt Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Hey Monty CZ! I just want to say this: The delay from PC input to TV showing this input is NOT due to the HDMI. Think about it. Consoles, like the PS3 (and the upcoming PS4) use HDMI to connect to TV screens. I own a PS3 myself, and a laptop with an HDMI output, and I can vouch that there's no lag whatsoever when I play any type of games on both machines. Now, your lag, is entirely real. But it's caused by something else entirely. By your TV. Sadly, most high-end TV's (especially 3D TV's) have their own display engines and stuff which decide what goes on screen at any given time. Given as a TV's brain isn't nearly as fast as say...a Haswell I7...you're in for a little bit of delay. How to fix it? I'm not entirely sure...Some brands tend to be at a bigger fault than others. Thankfully, my two big flat screens aren't an issue, then again, they aren't 3D lol! But, If you want to try to fix such an issue, heading to an online forum for the TV (dunno if they exist tho) could help you fix it. Alternatively, you could update the TV's firmware/software/etc. Quote
