were in Sf2I should you put the sound folder for an addon aircraft? In aircraft folder or in the objects folder?

Neither.

 

It goes in it's own folder 'Sounds' (which you may have to create if it's your first sound file).

"If a folder, or sub-folder, does NOT exist within the mods folder, you must create one"
