Race Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 While playing my strike fighters 2 games, my 10 year old who thinks he is my wizzo since he stands behind or beside me while I'm playing, asked me can you switch seats while in flight and if so how and with what airplanes?
ArturR Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 If I recall correctly two-seat Mirage 2000 has this ability.
+Soulfreak Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) Florians Mirage 2000D has this function as only plane. Edited October 15, 2013 by Soulfreak
+JediMaster Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Right, SF was developed to fly single-seat. Even the 2-seaters you just sit up front. There are historically very few jet sims that have had this ability. There are a few WWII sims like Il-2, but for jets the last I recall was F-15 SE 3 in the late 90s. DCS World should at some point bring this feature in, no timeline that I've seen though.
Race Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Thanks, he will be thrilled to know this.
CowboyTodd41 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Can't you switch to gunner seat in the Hind-P as well?
Peugeot205 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 (edited) I think that SF2 M-2000D does not have that ability. Edited October 27, 2013 by cangas
mertio23 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Yes, the Hind-P does in fact have this ability. It's good to know that you can do this with the Mirage 2000 as well- I'll be using that in the future. This ability is something I'd like to see in more mods, especially in bombers with a crewman dedicated to bomb aiming. I am not sure if there are any other mods that do this so if anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.
+Stratos Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I can't go to the rear seat on the Mirage-2000, how is done?
