Clem, as in the San CLEMente monster, Nessie's cousin from California. This giant Oarfish may be the species responsible for sightings of the monster over the years:

I remember when one washed ashore in Santa Monica in the 60s. It's on display at the Natural History museum, in a glass case to preserve it.
