jeanba Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Hello Can someone explain me as accuratly as possible how tthe "Time On target" works : Is this the time at which the Flight is spawned ? If yes, what is nthe reference : - When the player flight is scheduled to arrive on target ? or something else ? Thank you in advance
+Stratos Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Never used myself, maybe someone with more experience can tell.
+MigBuster Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 (edited) Haven't used it much - but for example when I set up an intercept in SF2V - I had to set the incoming bomber flight that would arrive over their target (my home base ) 5m 49s after starting the mission so the bombers started about 30 miles away. It might refer to so many minutes after or before a main flight hits the attack point also..... Edited October 30, 2013 by MigBuster
ignacioc91 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 The "Time on Target" option only applies for non-player flights. It is used to make another flight reach the target before or after you. Can be used for strike and air-defence suppresion, for instance.
jeanba Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) THank you, but I would like to know exactly how the duration is calculated ? - What is the reference point ? "Initial point" or "Target point" ? ... Edited October 31, 2013 by jeanba
