He decided to follow a political course of neutrality like Swizerland and Sweden. 1950: He announced a program of peacefull reunification of all 3 parts of Germany (Saarland, FRG and GDR) 1952: peace negogiations between the germans and the 4 victorpowers started 1955: The peace treaty is signed. Soviets, americans, british and french retreat from their occupations zones and two new states are founded: the Republic of Austria and the United Republic of Germany. 1956: New german armed forces were founded. The Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte (Air Force) formes 6 fighter squadron with swedish Saab J-29T Tunnan. The T stands for Tyskland swedish for Germany 1962: The first Saab J-35T is delivered and replacement of the Tunnan starts. 1975: The Saab J-37T Viggen becommes the successor of the Draken 1990: the first Saab J-39T Gripen enters german service. Here the first pictures of german Drakens. In the 70th the Drakens got a bottle green camo 4 Quote

May I suggest an addition: black or dark grey anti-reflection paint on the upper nose. Technically it is not necessary, but it might look better I think, especially in combination with a black or dark grey cockpit framework.
