Found this old b&w photo on the net when looking for inspirational pics of the Stearman and came across this photo of a guy name Kenny McKain, a cadet training on the Stearman, so I thought I would try to mesh him in with the fs9 new Stearman. Happy the way they came together. :) (critique time Fates! :) )

Next time your at an airshow, take a roll of black and white pics, 35mm. Have it developed on color paper at any local shop and you'll get a perfect sepia tone just like you see here.

 

However, I've recently discovered that my new digital camera has a sepia tone setting....and tosses all that out the window.

I shoulda tried that sepia toned dealio when I had this picture of me, on the left,

and a squadmate when he came up in his 450 HP Stearman last year.

 

 

It was a fun beast to blast around the Sierras in...
