Fubar512 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 (edited) Paul Revere, from the iconic 1960s group Paul Revere and the Raiders passed away yesterday, at the age of 76. http://www.examiner.com/article/paul-revere-beloved-classic-rock-legend-dies-at-age-76 I remember really liking this song, back when it was getting airplay on WABC in NY back in late 1966 or early 1967 (I was all of 8 years old back then!): Edited October 5, 2014 by Fubar512 Quote

JediMaster Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Cherokee Nation and Kicks were my two favorite songs of theirs, but they had other good lesser hits too. We're approaching that time when they're all going to leave us in quick succession. Quote
eagle2046 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I live in Idaho, and these guys were pretty popular here as a nostalgic rock band. The news reporting here about his death was messed up though....the newscaster was calling them " Paul Revere and the Radars ". I kid you not. She was probably around 23 years old, before her time I guess. Quote
