Planes going through carrier deck of sf1 carriers

I have successfully downloaded some sf1 carriers and they work just fine. Problem is the planes go through the carrier deck when landing. Is there by any chance I can use carriers lods from sf2 carriers to work with the sf1 carriers. I have read the knowledge base and followed but nothing fixed the problem.

What version of SF are you using them in? 1or 2?

I am using strike fighters 2 Europe

In order to work properly in an updated SF2 install, an aircraft carrier model (or any class of ship that one intends to land on, for that matter) requires a deck LOD.

 

Sometimes, one can get away by simply copying the model's main LOD file, renaming it Deck.LOD, and then adding the appropriate statements to the model's data.ini

wouldn't it be easier to simply download the already converted/modded SF2 carriers? There's eburgers ultimate CV Pak ...

eliminates the need for screwing around with things, and getting them wrong.
