UK_Widowmaker Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 (edited) I knew my Uncle was in the RAF during the War...but, i've recently found out, he flew Hurricanes in the Battle of Britain...with 504 squadron. He was always a joker...here's a picture I found of him online...which is how I found out..quite by accident! (he's the one in the Tin Hat) His Name was Gordon Spencer. He later went on to be one of the top pilots for Channel Airways, flying HS 748's and Tridents. He was a South African, who came to England as a boy and retired back there until his death in 1991 Edited July 11, 2015 by UK_Widowmaker 2
