Hello!  I am having the hardest time making Dhimari Decals show up on aircraft in SF2... I created a nations.ini entry for dhimar but its still not working does anyone have any advice?  Im sure this is a simple thing to fix but it has stumped me for the longest time!

If you intend to use the dhimar decals included with the game, Dhimar HAS to be [nation256] to correctly use level 0 (country/service) decals.

Also make sure that in decals.ini decals supposed to be insignias - and other country level decorations using the country numbering scheme - are set to DecalLevel=0.

Another way is to create a nation specific skin duplicate and add 256 at the end of the FilenameFormat of concerned level 0 decals (i.e. FilenameFormat=Insignia should become FilenameFormat=Insignia256 if it's a Dhimar skin).

Yet another way is to extract the Dhimar decals and rename them with the nation number you used in your modified nations.ini, but that's the least graceful way to do it.

P.S.: The same applies for Paran, except that Paran should be [nation257]. Also, use placeholders between your last nation and Dhimar/Paran, if you skip numbers in the nations.ini it won't work properly.

Had exactly same problem. Found that you need fill gap between last nation id and [nation256] and [nation 257] with dummy empty nations and then decals show up. Wheni arrive home today I will upload nations for you.

Edit: Gunrunner already mentioned that. I was blind

      Hi,
after seeing the TMF F-14 has wrong and inaccurate speed and fuel indicators, i found out the default Third Wire F-14 has working and accurate ones, but i dont wanna use it cause the TMF Tomcat is better and the cockpit too more realistic too, so can you switch the speed and fuel indicators on the TMF F-14 with the default Third Wire F-14? And for fuel too? Do you need to 3D model and/or do something else other than edit some text files?
And is it or it's not possible to do?
Down here are 2 pictures from the correct cockpit in the default Third Wire F-14:

And 2 from the TMF F-14 (the inaccurate one):

      Thanks for helping.

View File [Fictional] Dhimari Sud-Aviation Vautour IIA
Sud-Aviation Vautour IIA 'Dhimar' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
      This is a simple mod of the stock 'AI' Third Wire Vautour IIA to give a flyable Dhimari Vautour with markings for;
      No.11 Squadron - 'The Rams'
No.14 Squadron - 'The Buffaloes' (named after the squadron's first aircraft the Brewster F2A Buffalo).
Whilst this mod is meant for Strike Fighters 2 it does require you to have Strike Fighters 2:Israel so that you have the necessary Third Wire Vautour LODs. Please also note that this revised upload switches to the Third Wire Gloster Meteor cockpit but you can easily switch to the cockpit of your choice such as the A-4B cockpit.

      INSTRUCTIONS
      1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the VautourIIA_Dh folder into your Aircraft folder.
      2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the VautourIIA_Dh folder into your Decals folder.
      That's it!

      CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
