Im getting them but there is no text with the letter I get with the medal. :( I put all the files in the flight folder and overwrote what was there. Any ideas whats wrong? Quote
+MK2 Posted June 5, 2005 Author Posted June 5, 2005 The read me file contains the info . ;) You need the correct install path for it to work right. This is from the read me and it is the first step of the install. STEP 1 Please make sure your WOV game installation follows this path (or the medals will not work): C:\VPAF\WingsoverVietnam Quote

+Spectre_USA Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Make a new directory called VPAF, and copy the contesnts of you whole WoV directory into it. Apply add-on, voila, seperate add-on. Just use the EXE in the new place to start... Quote
MatsH Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Hello, I'm quite new to WoV and I am having some trouble getting Aces of North Vietnam to work correctly. I only get droptanks available in the loadout screens in campaign games. I get all kinds of stuff available in single missions. I have installed AoNV using JSGME, I know the readme tells me to do otherwise but I think it is the easiest way. I'm grateful for help! Quote
kukulino Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 (edited) Hello, I'm quite new to WoV and I am having some trouble getting Aces of North Vietnam to work correctly. I have installed AoNV using JSGME, I know the readme tells me to do otherwise but I think it is the easiest way. I'm grateful for help! Hallo pilot I am not good in work with JSGME, but I have installed Johan217 Mideast campaign pack, and it needs JSGME too. I have Aces of North Vietnam installed too. But I am not using JSGME. Have you got latest weapons pack installed? I think yes, becouse it uses different weapon names of russian rockets. Look for campaigndata.ini in the Campaigns\VPAFRollingThunder (it is named WOVCAMPVRT_DATA.ini). Open it, scroll down to first mig-21: [AirUnit157] AircraftType=MiG-21PFV UnitName=1/921st Mig-21PFV Flight ForceID=2 Nation=NVietnam StartDate=4/1966 DefaultTexture=VPAFmetal StartNumber=30 BaseArea=Noi Bai Airfield BaseMoveChance=0 RandomChance=100 MaxAircraft=10 StartAircraft=10 MaxPilots=10 StartPilots=10 Experience=60 Morale=100 Supply=50 MissionChance[sWEEP]=0 MissionChance[CAP]=100 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=100 MissionChance[ESCORT]=0 MissionChance=0 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=0 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=0 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Supply[001].WeaponType=AA-2 <-------- this is your problem, I think. Change it to R-3S Supply[001].Quantity=300 I had the same problem. I changed AA-2 to R-3S and it works right. But, as I wrote, I haven't got JSGME. If it will work, change all AA-2s to R-3S, of course. Just try it And, I don't know if you know, that we have made REALY REALY GOOD Mig-21 cocpits in the download section: Mig-21F,PF,PFM http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=1919 And some "MF" version cocpits. Look into download section. Edited June 13, 2007 by kukulino Quote
MatsH Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Thanks a lot kukulino! I had to do that as well as replacing "WP" with "SOVIET" in the aircraft data.ini-files. Again, thanks a lot! /Mats Quote
